Online Proctored Testing Explainer Video

Project Background

When the pandemic forced the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) to rapidly transition the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) test to an online proctored testing option, test-takers needed clear guidance on what the at-home experience would look like. Many were unfamiliar with remote proctoring technology and hesitant about the new process.

I led the entire creative process to develop an explainer video that would educate prospective test-takers on the online proctored testing experience and help them make an informed decision between at-home testing and traditional test centers. Working with subject matter experts, I developed a storyboard for approval, then handled all illustration, animation, and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects. The result was a clear, approachable video that demystified the remote testing process and reduced anxiety around the new format.
