Mad Libs Interaction

Project Background

Inspired by the classic word game, this playful interaction reimagines Mad Libs for the professional world. Created as a personal project for an eLearning Heroes challenge, the activity invites users to input custom responses that generate a humorous, “choose-your-own-adventure” style story—centered around the job interview experience.

Built in Articulate Storyline using variables and conditional triggers to deliver dynamic content, the interaction demonstrates how traditional game mechanics can be adapted to make professional topics more engaging and memorable. Users fill in prompts for different parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives), and their words are woven into a customized narrative that transforms dry interview advice into an entertaining, personalized experience.
